More research needs to be done to ensure that the 3DTV technology is all inclusive and safe. I also caution against running out and getting one of these expensive machines. We have seen in the past, how a piece of technology is the “end all and be all product” only to have it discontinued or replaced a year later. I have friends that bought HDTV’s years ago only to need to replace them because of obsolete technology within their equipment. Can you say HD DVD? I would hold off on the technology until they perfect it, but the companies want you to rush out and get them now, because it shows them you really want it? This will allow them to spend money on research and development while they improve the product down the road. Again this is kind of putting the cart in front of the horse isn’t it? Shouldn’t you have a spectacular product first with minor adjustments down the road, instead of the next generation being so radically different from the last, we need to replace everything. [...]
