Work Life Balance – Ha, what a joke!

We have seen cities that have no cultural outlets get mired in drugs and violence. Personal crimes go up, like spousal abuse, but to no avail. We don’t want to associate a societies ability to cope with pressure with cultural events, museums or plays. Most Governments around the world have focused on funding increases to health care and education at the cost of cultural groups. We are sacrificing school music and arts programs for a purely academic program that costs less and can be rammed through with no real thought being associated with it. It is amazing how free speech and free thought are being replaced by the monolithic thought of producing non-thinking cogs for most corporations and businesses. We are shutting down libraries (because no one reads books anymore (so says the bureaucrats) and if they are they are only reading the electronic version ) and yet library usage is actually climbing in most centres.
